Cecil Fielder

Is a formerprofessional baseballplayer who was a noted power hitter in the 1980s and 1990s. He attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Drafted by Kansas City Royals in fourth round, June, 1982. Traded to Toronto Blue Jays, February 4, 1983; promoted to parent club in 1985 from minor league team in Knoxville, TN; demoted to team at Syracuse, NY, 1986.

After thirteen years of Professional Baseball on the International circuit, Mr. James Bishop started a non-profit sports and academic organization in 1994.  Mr. Bishop’s organization specialized in providing camps and clinics for at-risk youth in Los Angeles counties.  James Bishop’s love for the game of baseball gave him the opportunity to bring Major League Baseball Players to the inner city to teach the fundamentals of life skills and baseball techniques.  Players like Eric Davis, Darryl Strawberry, Brian Hunter, Bip Roberts, Cecil Fielder and many other well known athletes have volunteered their time and skills to make the clinics and camps a success.

Seanez, who is of Mexican American descent, was originally drafted by theCleveland Indiansin1986. He has made major league appearances for many teams between1989and2008, including the Cleveland Indians,San Diego Padres(four separate stints),Los Angeles Dodgers(twice),Atlanta Braves(twice),Texas Rangers,Boston Red Sox(twice),Kansas City Royals,Florida Marlins, andPhiladelphia Phillies. He bats and throwsright-handed.
